BOISE, ID (CBS2) — The Idaho Department of Education unveiled the winners of their 2023 Holiday Card Contest!
Students from across Idaho, creating original works of art.
Taking into account composition, color and most importantly - creativity!
Two student artists took the top spots:
Fifth grader Aryan Eruvuru of Trail Wind Elementary School in Boise swept the K-6th category with this delightful holiday scene, complete with two penguins and a shining full moon!
And eighth grader Ashley Lind of Soda Springs winning the 7-12 category for her minimalist tree, complete with a bright red robin!
Both pieces of art will now be on the Idaho Department of Education's 2023 Holiday Card, spreading the cheer and creativity of our local Idaho students.
More than 900 Idaho public school students in kindergarten through twelfth grade entered the Idaho Department of Education’s 2023 Holiday Card Contest.
According to the Idaho Department of Education, winners were selected for each grade level with judges narrowing the field to just thirteen winners to grace the Idaho Department of Education website!
